It is well known that a diet is more than half the battle in the struggle for a beautiful figure. Do you want to eat healthy without losing your spirit, and more importantly – not go crazy? Implement 9 principles of healthy eating into your life, and you will be full of power, health and energy, and a smile will not disappear from your face! Read on and implement!

  1. Eat regularly

Try to eat your meals at regular times. Thanks to that, you will avoid the accumulation of fat. Our body is a really smart machine, and we aren’t aware of this. If we eat meals at different times, then the body won’t regulate and it won’t remember when the meal time is, which results in it storing a reserve of different substances, and gaining weight will only be a matter of time.

  1. Everything is for people, but with moderation!

Weakness of almost any woman (yeees, even mine!) – sweets. We reach for them when we need a quick supply of sugar, when we’re stressed, when we have problems. As one of candyholics, I know very well that it’s not easy to eliminate them from our life once and for all. Sweets every day – no! Sweets once a week – definitely. Also remember a candy replacement – fruits. Oranges, pears or peaches are also sweet, and contain a lot of vitamins.

  1. Vegetables, a looot of vegetables!

Vegetables are primarily healthy, colourful, eye catching, tasty, and meals that include them are delicious and different. I personally don’t count vegetables into my daily calorie intake and eat them as much as I please!

  1. Tasty and… Pretty!

Yes, we’re not just eating with our mouths, but also with our eyes and nose. Let’s try making meals so they look visually attractive, for example putting the tomatoes on the edge of the plate, sprinkle it with some chopped basil and add mozzarella slices. It looks effective and it tastes…

  1. Use herbs, limit the salt.

Basil, thyme, mint, rosemary, oregano and many other herbs changes the aroma and taste of the meal. Experiment. Try, which taste suits you better. Why use salt on everything we eat? Salt in excessive amounts can only harm.

  1. Drink a lot of water.

Everyone knows that we need to drink a lot of fluids. Why drink popular fizzy drinks, which have an unbelievable amount of sugar per litre? The best thing to drink is water, as it doesn’t have any additions. If you don’t like drinking water by itself, add a lemon and fresh mint and you will get a really refreshing drink.

  1. Think while shopping – read the labels on packaging.

Shop smarter. Make reading the labels a habit and you will always know what you’re putting in your cart.

  1. Replace fast foods with healthier, homemade versions.

Instead of standing in line at a „restaurant” with fast food, make hamburgers yourself. They’re not hard to prepare, and you will know where all the ingredients are coming from.

  1. Variety of meals is a key to success.

The more your diet varies, the more nutrition, vitamins and minerals you supply your body with. No dietary supplements will replace a well-balanced diet.
